Stephanie Smith, MSN, RN, OCN is an Oncology Research Manager at the Nancy N. and J.C. Lewis Cancer & Research Pavilion at St. Joseph's/Candler Health System in Savannah where she currently manages oncology clinical trials, biospecimens and genetic counseling services. She received her Associates Degree in Nursing from Pensacola Junior College in Pensacola, Florida, graduating with honors in May 1999. She returned to Charleston Southern University in May 2012 to complete the Master of Science in Nursing, Nurse Educator Program. She completed this program December 6, 2013 finishing with a 4.0 grade point average.
Stephanie was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau in the fall of 2013 and is currently a member of the Gamma Omicron Chapter at Large. She has been a member of Oncology Nursing Society since 2001 and is also a member of the Clinical Trial Nurses Special Interest Group. Stephanie serves on both state and national committees including the Georgia NCORP Clinical Trials committee and several SWOG and ECOG-ACRIN committees.
